ProMod itself does not send any personal data. However, some modules like XVM communicate with external servers to retrieve statistics and player ratings. This is normal and technically required for those features.

The easiest method is to use the included uninstaller. Alternatively, you can delete the “mods” and “res_mods” folders inside your World of Tanks directory to fully remove ProMod. After that, the game will start without any modifications.

Download the installer, run it on Windows, and select your World of Tanks installation path. The setup automatically installs all selected mods. Restarting the game is enough to start using ProMod.

Occasional warnings occur due to so-called “false positives.” The ProMod installer is a packed setup file, which some security tools may flag automatically. If you download ProMod from an official source, it is safe — and you can also verify the file with VirusTotal for extra reassurance.

The installer works only on Windows. ProMod also requires .NET Framework 4.8. It does not run reliably under Linux, WINE, or Proton.
